Rising to the Challenge During COVID-19
When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global travel, thousands of families found themselves separated from their pets. Flight cancellations, border restrictions, and rapidly changing regulations created unprecedented obstacles for pet travel.
Rather than accepting defeat, our team worked tirelessly to find a way forward.
Worldwide Animal Travel successfully organized and operated four charter flights from Canada to Australia, helping reunite more than 380 family pets with their owners during one of the most challenging periods in modern travel history.
We also decided to organize and coordinate a charter flight to New Zealand, helping reunite 42 pets with 36 families who had been waiting months to welcome their companions home.
These extraordinary flights required extensive planning, coordination with airlines and government authorities, and a determination to overcome obstacles that many believed were insurmountable.
