Canadian Import Brokerage Services

Already have your pet travel planned and need help with the paperwork? You’ve come to the right place!

Arranging travel for your beloved animal companion, and not sure how to complete the brokerage services? We can help! We are now able to help you complete the necessary paperwork to import with KLM into Canada. We also offer pet owner completion and assistance of health documents for pets traveling as checked baggage.

Please note: While we do not coordinate flights and bookings for Canadian imports, we will be more than happy to help forward them on to their next destination through our comfort stop service. Complete the form below to provide us with all of the necessary information.

    Vancouver

The typical process from the arrival to the release of your companion animal, will usually take 2.5 to 3 hours after the flight arrives (this primarily depends on how busy Canada Customs is). However, import customs clearance can take a few hours longer depending on the Canada Customs lineup.

On arrival, your pet will be transferred from the aircraft to a holding area at the main terminal for import vet inspection. Once the inspection is complete, your pet will be transferred to the airline cargo shed.

Our staff will be waiting for your pet(s) at the airline and will transfer your cherished friend to our pet transit facility for immediate comfort and care (soiled pet carriers will be cleaned during this time).

While we make your pet comfortable, the customs broker will be submitting the appropriate paperwork to Canada Customs for clearance.

Once cleared into Canada, your pet is ready for collection from our airport pet care facility.

    Toronto

Toronto has a similar process to Vancouver with a few exceptions.

From the arrival to the release of your companion animal, it will usually take 2.5 to 3 hours after flight arrival (this primarily depends on how busy Canada Customs is). However, import customs clearance can take a few hours longer depending on the Canada Customs lineup.

On arrival, your pet will be transferred to the airline’s cargo shed.

Once your pet and health documents have been checked into the airline’s cargo shed, one of our staff members will be there to collect the required documents for presentation to Canada Customs.

The customs entry package is submitted to Canada Customs, the documents are reviewed, and your pet will be inspected by an agriculture officer. Upon completion of the review and inspection, your pet will be released.

Our staff will collect your pet from the airline, and transfer them to our airport pet reception facility for comfort and care. The collection of your pet is at our airport office/kennel.

We moved ourselves to Dubai. I have two dogs, ones a Cockapoo and one is a Bedlington Terrier X Poodle. Probably like most dog parents I was trying to look at multiple different companies for their relocation services to make the process go smoother. I looked at WWAT’s reviews and their Google reviews were actually very good, that is why I went with them. And since I was in Vancouver, it made sense to go with them since their office location is in Richmond. I ended up getting paired with Monica Chou as my Pet Travel Coordinator, and I just want to say that she did an absolutely amazing job with everything and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Her communication was timely and thorough. She paid attention to all the tiny details to make sure all the forms and documents were in order. She gave me step by step what I needed to complete. She also got in touch with the multiple vets I was using to make sure everything had the correct information. Moving is stressful and expensive but having Monica’s help just made everything go very smoothly. I was really worried about how the dogs were going to do because Teddy has really bad separation anxiety, but him and Geo both made it! They did a flight from Vancouver to Amsterdam, did a night at the pet hotel there, then flew again from Amsterdam to Dubai. Going with a relocation company just takes care of the hard work so that you can have less headaches yourself. I can’t imagine doing something like this without the help from WWAT. I hope my review helps other pet parents consider travelling with WWAT. Monica Chou, you’re the best! She even took time to make a collage of my dogs which is super cute. Thanks so much!! P.s. some other helpful info: if you don’t want to mess up buying the wrong crate for your dogs I suggest bringing your dog to their office to get a crate fitting. I had two crates for my dogs but they were not acceptable because they were too small even though i felt like they fit, so I ended up just going with the crates WWAT recommended. They had them at the office so it made it easy to have my brother drop them off at the office without having to worry about how to bring the crates from home.. they are too big to fit in a regular car.

We had a great experience using Worldwide Animal Travel and their partner Sky Pets when moving our two Labradors from Calgary to London Heathrow. The communication throughout was excellent from initial contact on all the requirements, through step by step support, to the day of depture and arrival. I have to give a special shout out to Monica our Coordinator and Jennifer who supported our check-in with Air Canada in Calgary. We felt very well supported and informed and that our pets well-being was a priority.
