How to determine which crate size is right for your pet

A = length from nose to root of tail
B = height from ground to elbow joint
C = width across back
D = height in neutral position
Length of kennel equal to A + ½ B
Width of kennel equal to C x 2
Height of kennel equal to D + 1 inch
WAT tip #1: To determine ‘D’ and ‘B’ as accurately as possible, simply stand next to your pet and make a mark on your leg where the top of their head comes to (or ears if they are higher). Then, use measuring tape to measure the length from the ground to the marked point on your leg. This is measurement D. To find measurement B, simply divide this number in half.
WAT tip #2: We suggest that almost all adult cats use the BB35 crate size. However, for kittens, we suggest using the BB25.
