Our Ethics
We are proud of the work we do and how we do it.
At Worldwide Animal Travel, we truly love what we do and we understand that your pet is a part of your family, whom you would want treated the same way you treat them.
We are dedicated to offering our customers the best experience possible. All of our staff are trained to follow our ethical guidelines when executing tasks for transporting your pet.
At Worldwide Animal Travel, we do everything in our power to ensure your pet has a safe, humane, and secure journey, every step of the way.
That’s why we follow these non-negotiable commitments:
- We only use animal-friendly airlines and routes that meet our safety and welfare standards.
- Puppies or kittens under 10 weeks of age are not eligible for travel.
- If temperatures exceed 24°C along the route, we won’t transport brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds like Bulldogs or Persians.
- Pets that are injured, sedated, or experiencing extreme distress are not cleared to travel.
Additionally:
- We reject any form of inhumane transport.
- We prioritize the welfare of animals above all business concerns, offering the highest standards of care.
- We never transport laboratory animals.
- Our team strictly avoids animal transport for slaughter.
- We do not move animals commonly considered livestock unless they are clearly family pets.
- Most importantly, we operate in full compliance with local, federal, and international animal transport laws. Learn more about global animal transport standards through IPATA’s code of ethics.
