WWAT is also BOAS Certified through IPATA’s Brachycephalic Certification Program, giving our team specialized training to safely manage pets with shorter facial structures breeds such as Bulldogs, Pugs, Boxers, Boston Terriers, Persian and Himalayan cats.
Brachycephalic (snub-nosed) pets can face higher risks during air travel due to narrower airways and increased sensitivity to heat and stress. The BOAS Certification ensures our staff understands these challenges and follows enhanced safety protocols for each stage of travel from route planning and crate selection to temperature management and in-transit monitoring.
