Import Travel Coordinator – Toronto (Mississauga)

We are looking for several full-time Import Travel Coordinator for our Mississauga office.
Reporting to our Mississauga Operations Manager, the Import Travel Coordinator will arrange custom clearance of pets via custom brokers.
You will be the trusted point of contact and the face of Worldwide Animal Travel in our imports area. You will be responsible communicating directly with our customs customers, arranging deliveries at airport Customs, and coordinating operational staff.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain excellent communication with the Custom Clearance customers from initial booking until the end of the trip
- Act as an Import pet travel expert while presenting our value proposition to customers
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while executing tasks throughout the day
- Anticipate needs by being familiar with the Customs requirements for cities and countries around the world
What you need to succeed:
If you’re still reading that means you’re excited! To set you up for success from the start, you’ll need to have a:
- Min. of 2 years customer service experience (preferred)
- Proven English communication skills both written and verbal
- Proactive person who takes initiative
- Problem-solver
- Excellent computer skills
- Self-motivated and work with limited supervision
- Post-secondary education and/or training in customer service, communications or equivalent is an asset
Successful candidates will have the following skills:
- Proven ability to work well under pressure
- Superior attention to detail
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Takes Initiative and is reliable
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to adapt
- Works well as an active team player
- Uses sound judgement and can troubleshoot issues
- Extremely well organized
Salary range based on experience $24.00 to $26.00/hr

Export Travel Coordinator – Vancouver Airport

We are looking for several full-time Export Travel Coordinator for our Vancouver Airport office.
Reporting to our Vancouver Operations Manager, the Export Travel Coordinator will coordinate travel details and requirements with government agencies, airlines and veterinarians. This highly detailed individual will also proof and provide export health documentation to facilitate the safe travels of pets under our care.

- Anticipate needs by being familiar with the Customs requirements for cities and countries around the world

Pet Handler - Full-Time and Part-Time Positions (Vancouver and Toronto)

Worldwide Animal Travel is a full-service pet relocation company based in Vancouver, BC, and Toronto, ON. We are here to provide pets the true VIP travel experience!
We are expanding and have both part-time and full-time openings as a Pet Handler in our Toronto and Vancouver office locations.
Qualifications include:
- Must love working with animals
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving abstract, with minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada
- Must have a valid Canadian passport
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
- Good attitude and customer service skills
- Previous animal care experience is an asset
- Work well with others
This is a fast-paced environment that revolves around the safe transportation of family pets.
Successful candidates will have the following duties:
- Care for pets
- Collect and deliver pets to clients
- Bring pets to departing airlines at Toronto Pearson International or Vancouver Airport (as applicable)
- Collect pets arriving at Toronto Pearson International or Vancouver Airport (as applicable)
- Drive pets to Southern Ontario
- Work with Government organization such as the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Canada Customs
- Maintain a clean facility
- Work and liaise with local vet clinics
WAT van is provided for transporting animals. Wage starts at $23.00 an hour.
